This recipe is so easy, it's a piece of cake . . . errrr cobbler.
The recipe was on the side of the Krusteaz box last year.
1 pkg. Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake mix
4 C frozen mixed berries - Costco
1 pouch cinnamon topping - enclosed
6 T butter cut into pieces
1 C old fashioned oats - the slow cooking variety
1 T water
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In large bowl, gently toss berries and 1/2 C cake mix. Spoon berry mixture into an ungreased 10-in deep dish pie pan. In separate bowl, place remaining cake mix, full pouch cinnamon topping, butter, oats and water. Using an electric mixer, mix on medium speed until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over berry mixture. Bake 35-40 minutes -- sometimes as much as 55 here in Utah -- until filling is bubbly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Makes 8 servings.
